The Iowa Chapter
Husband and I have been pretty busy. He was offered a job in Iowa, and we moved from Tennessee in September. It feels like we are finally settling in. It is hard. I miss my family so much sometimes it physically hurts. But this is such a great opportunity for both of us. We’re growing up and making it on our own.
And so far, I like this place. I thought as a Southern girl in the Midwest I’d feel out of place, but everyone is so genuinely nice here. Plus I have the love of my life with me.
